Coach Dick Advocaat leaves camp
When Curacao meet Jamaica tomorrow at the National Stadium, they are likely to do so without the guidance of head coach Dick Advocaat, who has since left the team's camp due to 'private circumstances'.
Curacao confirmed the news on Instagram yesterday, as they said the team will be led by assistant coaches Dean Gorre and Cor Pot in Advocaat's absence.
Despite his absence, Advocaat will remain in communication with his assistants regarding the team's tactical preparation.
Tomorrow's fixture will decide Group B's automatic qualifier for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Curacao lead Group B will 11 points, with Jamaica second on 10.
The Reggae Boyz will need a win if they are to advance via automatic qualification, while Curacao will advance if they avoid defeat.
